Greetings in the precious name of
our Lord Jesus Christ—the name that is above every name.
This past two months have been
very busy for Kristi and myself but God has blessed us. In January, we made an unexpected trip to Mississippi
when Kristi’s grandmother fell very ill.
She passed away on January 21st, and we returned to North
Carolina a few days later to continue working on getting the paperwork about
our purchasing WCOK Radio ready to file with the FCC. I am happy to report that all the papers have
been filed with the FCC this week, and we expect to have WCOK Radio by the end
of March and will begin broadcasting soon after. This will be a great addition to our ministry. I feel that we can reach many people in the
mountains of North Carolina.
Several pastors have already
expressed interest in coming on board with us and having a radio broadcast on
WCOK. If you are interested in a
broadcast on WCOK Radio, I will be happy to talk with you about that in the
next few weeks. I know that God is going
to bless our operations in the mountain and will continue to bless our
operations in Dobson.
The ministries here continue to
do great. God continues to bless our
radio station and is also blessing the internet radio station. We set another record in January for
PreachingtheGospel.org. It had over
36,000 hits to the website. It is
continuing to get preaching out around the world. I am amazed at what God is doing with this
station.
One prayer request I have is that
God will expand our radio broadcast ministry—my daily and weekly broadcasts—that
we can expand them to other stations. We
continue to reach many people with my radio broadcasts. I have been able to get out many CDs that I
feel have been a help to people and many of those have been to radio
listeners. Just is past month, we have
mailed out several copies of a message I preached on doubting your
salvation.
Please continue to keep us in
your prayers. Our personal support
continues to be about 18 percent. Please
pray that this will go up and that more churches will take us on in these days.
May God bless you,
